Here is the Harrison & Harrison glass 89B filter set up on the left, and the Kodak 89B gel on the right. Exposure was 1 sec. at F2.8 in Black and White mode with focus set to infinity. This was the same for the other sample.

These are totally untouched other than to re-size them. You can see that the contrast is different, but that is about all. Below are the levels of each file.

 

In my opinion, the glass set up of Harrison & Harrison is just as good as the gel, and not as delicate.
