Here is the 88A filter.

Here is the 89B.

 

Exposure was 1 sec. at F2.8 in Black and White mode with focus set to infinity. These are totally untouched other than to re-size them. You can see that the contrast is different, but that is about all. Below are the levels of each file.

Here is the 88A after auto levels was applied in Photoshop. Below is the same on the 89B.

My fear that the 88A somehow affected the focus proved to be ill founded. I think the 88A has more contrast than the 89B, but it seems that either will work. Not sure if one is better than the other. That I suspect will be a personal thing.
