It’s human nature to have mixed feelings about having a camera pointed at you. On one hand, there’s that anxiety of having everything you dislike about your appearance preserved for eternity. And then there’s that secret emotion you feel when someone takes a picture of you in just the right light, at just the right angle, and for that brief moment you look pretty darn good.
That’s why I love to shoot people. Unlike your uncle with a decent point and shoot who might get lucky every 300th snapshot, I’ve got the skills to create just the right light and shoot you at just the right angle (and do just the right amount of subtle retouching in Photoshop) to make anyone look great… and who wouldn’t like that?
